Exhibition of Svartholma

Island of Soldiers, Prisoners and Visitors

The exhibition presents the exciting history of the fortress island of Svartholma. The exhibition shows how the fortress was constructed and gives visitors look at life in the island under Swedish and Russian rule. Free entrance.

1–16 June and 17 August – 1 September Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
21 June–11 August Tuesday through Sunday at 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The exhibition is on the second floor. Stairs from the inner yard, no elevator. There is a small exhibition room also downstairs.
